GENERAL DESCRIPTION ABOUT THE PLACE :- Camping in Nainital
Pangoot, a quaint small village at 6,300 feet above sea level is set amidst a thickest Oak and Rhododendron Forest only 15 kilometers from Nainital. The drive takes only 20 minutes to get there. The entire drive is through the forested area of Cheena Peak Range via Snow View Point and Kilbury the main habitats for excellent adventure, trekking & birding. In a clear sky the mighty Himalayan Range is visible for a 11 kms stretch till Pangoot..
PROVISIONS: Tents, Cotton Mattresses, Bed Sheets, Sleeping Bags/Blankets, Running Water Toilets/Baths, Camp Fire with Music, Power Back-up, Multi cuisine kitchen, Qualified activity and camp instructors, Top standard activity gear etc.
TEMPERATURE : Winters: -3 to 15 degrees Summers: 8 to 25 degrees.
TOUR CAPACITY : 120 students on Ground Bedding.
ELIGIBILITY : Physically fit individual.
MEDICAL FACILITY : Camp staff is trained in First Aid and equipped accordingly. However proper medical facilities are available within 15 km of the camp.
GENERAL CAMP SCHEDULE

Wakeup: 06.00 am with morning tea. Warm-up: 07.30 am. Bon Fire: 08.00 pm to 09.00 pm Games: 06.00 pm to 07.30 pm. Lights Off: 11.00 pm. Meals : Breakfast : 08.30 am, Lunch : 01.3 0 pm, Eve. Snacks : 05.30 pm, Dinner : 09.30 pm

SKETCH ITINERARY : MORNING ARRIVAL : 80 CAMPING HOURS

DAY 01 : Arrival Camp: Morning : Arrival Nainital. Be greeted by a camp representative and board jeeps for further transfer. Drive 15 km, 1/2 hrs approx for camp. Arrival camp. Warm welcome with hot drinks. Issue of equipment and introduction of camp rules. Daily chores. Brief rest. Discussion on Camp Philosophy, Tent Pitching Demo, Familiarization Trekking, Forest Familiarization, Flying Fox, Burma Bridge (Two types), Commando Crawl, Trust Fall, Rope Obstacles, Blind Fold, Team Building Games, Bonfire.

DAY 02 : In Camp: Warm Up, Moderate Trekking, Equipment Detailing, Rock climbing, Demo on Jumar Ring, Rappelling, Rope Obstacles, Knot Learning, Village Tour and Socialization, Bonfire, Night Navigation.

DAY 03 : In Camp: Half day Sunrise Trek to Cheena Peak (Tiffin Top), Treasure Hunt, Workshop on Kumaoni customs, Team Building Games,, Bonfire, Self Cooking.

DAY 04 : Camp - Nainital - Destination 0800 hrs : Farewells and Parting Messages. Post breakfast Checkout. Drive to Nainital 15 km/30 minutes. Walk to Cave Garden. Enjoy the splendors the MALL on your own but do not forget to visit Naina Devi Temple, Bhotia Market, Cable Car, Nainital Zoo & Boating at Naini Lake 1300 hrs : Assembly for lunch. Post lunch departure for destination.
